Llama Llama & Ladybug Books Giveaway

One of my lucky readers will win both of these children's picture books from Penguin Young Readers.

The Llama Llama books are a favorite in our house. Something about the rhyming and the storyline my kids can relate to is completely engaging for them. They beg me to read it to them every night! This giveaway is for the children's book Llama Llama Misses Mama by Anna Dewdney. I'll be giving this delightful book to one of my lucky readers.

Here's more information about this book directly from Penguin:

Strange new teacher.
Strange new toys.
Lots of kids and lots of noise!

What would Llama like to do?
Llama Llama feels so new . . .

It’s Llama Llama’s first day of preschool! And Llama Llama’s mama makes sure he’s ready. They meet the teachers. See the other children. Look at all the books and games. But then it’s time for Mama to leave. And suddenly Llama Llama isn’t so excited anymore. Will Mama Llama come back?

Of course she will. But before she does, the other children show Llama Llama how much fun school can be!

Hooray for children's books because they are fun for the whole family to read! Penguin Young Readers is also giving away the children's book Ladybug Girl and Bumblebee Boy by David Soman and Jacky Davis. I'll be giving this "bee"utiful book to one of my lucky readers.

Here's more information about this book directly from Penguin:

At the playground, Lulu asks her friend Sam if he wants to play with her. Sam likes Diggers, while Lulu thinks Monkeys is the best game. Sam suggests playing under the castle, but Lulu knows that the top is the most fun. They just can’t agree! And then Lulu asks, “Have you ever played Ladybug Girl?”

As Ladybug Girl and Bumblebee Boy, Lulu and Sam save the playground from hairy monsters and big mean robots, and have their very own parade on the bouncy dinosaurs. They figure out that when they work together, they can create fun games that they both like to play.

My oldest boy is really liking The Little Critter books by Mercer Mayer. He's been going through a difficult stage and especially enjoys "I was so Mad."

The younger too don't have any favorites - but the especially like rip-the-flap (oops, I mean lift-the-flap) books.

I'm sorry, but this is an old giveaway that is now closed. I had to go back to this old blog to use it as a backup while my site is under construction. I hope to be up and running again on Tuesday!
