We save money by purchasing meats when they're on sale and putting them in the freezer until we're ready to use them. We're hoping to get a nice little grill this summer.

I get the vegetables, cheese and meat that I need for summer salad at a salad bar in our local grocery market. I am only paying for what I need and the vegetables are already cleaned, trimmed and in the perfect size! No waster--great money saver!

We love to bbq. We love staying outside and socializing. We buy meat in bulk when it is on sale. I repackage them into ziploc freezer bags. I write what it is and how many it serves on the outside with a permanent marker. We save a lot of money, and always have something on hand for when impromptu gatherings come up.

how do I save money on BBQs? Man. I'm not really sure. The only thing I can think of is that we usually have neighborhood BBQs and everyone brings something. That way no one is preparing everything or in charge of buying everything. :) I guess that works and it makes the BBQ super fun!

Would like to win, usually not very lucky.

I am an avid Buy One/Get One Free shopper for meats. This means double the amount of meat and we can grill them ahead for several meals. There is nothing better than grilled meats of any kind. This giveaway is super! Hope they continue.

We stock up when meats and vegi's are on sale and freeze them, plus I usually add honey, orange juice, apple juice, brown sugar or mustard to my BBQ sauce which often means we use less sauce, plus it makes the sauces savory.

Like many other readers, I wait for sales and stock up on bbq meats. I store them in my freezer (tightly wrapped in foil and freezer bags if it's for any length of time) and pull them out as needed. My grocery store has a clearance section in meats where I've gotten some pretty amazing deals to stuff my freezer with. Also - make use of your butcher!!! Grab the cheaper, economy or family sized packages and have them cut down instead of buying them already cut. That's what the butcher is there for, and it doesn't cost anything extra.
